1.5Ft Cat6 CMR Unshielded Ethernet Network Cable Non Booted Gray.

The Cat6 CMR Assembly Type Network Patch Cables are tested up to 250 MHz and are ideal for indoor voice, data, video and security networking applications. Whether you are wiring small or large network such as your home, office or entire campus, we have the network solution that is right for you.

This Cat6 Assembly Type Network Patch Cable is the perfect fit for indoor applications. This cable is made with 8 stranded copper conductors (4-Pairs) with a durable jacket. The ends are terminated with high-quality RJ45 connectors featuring 50 Micron gold-plated contacts. Our Category 6 CMR Assembly-Type Patch Cables are designed for indoor LAN applications, making it a great solution for indoor installation that require the cable to be installed in walls or any other non-plenum areas. Our Cat6 CMR Assembly Ethernet patch cables quality cords are also great for video streaming, distributing data or voice and are factory tested.

Network cable comes with different ratings, either 'CM', 'CMR' or 'CMP', as well as 'UL'. These cable rating codes mean that the cables meets different UL-NEC requirements based mostly on cable jacket quality concerning fire hazard.

CM: CM rated cables are used for general building wiring including residential installation. These cables are resistant to the spread of fire and pass the UL 1581 Vertical Tray Flame Test. When it's just called a patch cable, it is typically CM rated jacket.

CMR: The 'R' in CRM is for 'Riser'. Riser type cables are engineered to prevent the spread of fire from floor to floor and are suitable for vertical shaft applications.

CMP: The 'P' in CMP is for Plenum. Cables meeting type CMP requirements are suitable for installation in ducts and plenums without the use of conduit. These cables are designed for fire resistance and low-smoke and toxin producing characteristics.

In general, fire resistance requirement becomes higher in this order; CM ->CMR ->CMP. CMP produces the least smoke and toxic fume when burnt.

Typical patch cables are CM rated and suitable for general building installation. Our CMR series specifically uses CMR rated jacket for installations where higher fire resistance is required.

FAQ
TIA/EIA

TIA/EIA is abbreviation of Telecommunication Industry Association and Electronics Industry Alliance that sets telecommunication standards in the US. Our patch cable complies with the latest TIA/EIA telecommunication cable standards.
T-568B Wiring

There are two standards for wiring color code, 568A and 568B. While there's no difference in connectivity between 568A and 568B, 568B is the most prevalent wi ring color code in the US. Our patch cable is 568B wired.
UTP and STP

UTP is Unshielded Twisted Pair and STP is Shielded Twisted Pair. STP cable is wrapped in metal foil or braid. Both have the same Ethernet communication performance, but STP has better protection against Electro-Magnetis noise from outside. UTP is accepted for residential and general commercial installation.
CMR rated jacket

Riser type cables are engineered to prevent the spread of fire from floor to floor and are suitable for vertical shaft applications.
24AWG and Stranded

AWG (American Wire Gauge) indicates wire thickness. Higher the number, thinner the wire. 24AWG or 26AWG is commonly used for ethernet cables. Stranded wire is a bundle of thin wires as oposed to solid wire that is single solid wire. Stranded wire is more flexible than solid wire and commonly used for indoor network wiring such as patch cable.
RoHS

Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive. This directive restricts the use of hazardous materials such as lead or mercury in the manufacture of electronic and electrical equipments. Our cables are all RoHS compliant.
