This Cat6 Assembly Type Network Patch Cable is the perfect fit for indoor applications. This cable is made with 8 stranded copper conductors (4-Pairs) with a durable jacket. Our Category 6 CMR Assembly-Type Patch Cables are designed for indoor LAN applications, making it a great solution for indoor installation that require the cable to be installed in walls or any other non-plenum areas. Network cable comes with different ratings, either 'CM', 'CMR' or 'CMP', as well as 'UL'. These cable rating codes mean that the cables meets different UL-NEC requirements based mostly on cable jacket quality concerning fire hazard.
CM: CM rated cables are used for general building wiring including residential installation. These cables are resistant to the spread of fire and pass the UL 1581 Vertical Tray Flame Test. When it's just called a patch cable, it is typically CM rated jacket.
