The HDMI-50M is a HDMI extender that includes a transmitter unit (TX) and a receiver unit (RX) that work as a pair. This HDMI extender also includes PoE support to power the receiver from the transmitter. The transmitter unit can power the receiver unit via networking cable with only one power supply. The extender supports full 1080p@60Hz HDMI signal via Cat6 / 6a networking cable up to 40 meters, and IR support. The HDMI extender is perfect for HD conference system, HD video shooting, HD multimedia education system, and more. The metal enclosure surrounding the extender provides durability and includes screw holes for easy mounting.
Typically for HDMI extenders, both the sender and receiving side both need to be powered to ensure a reliable signal to go through. With this HDMI extender, it includes PoE support, allowing the sender to send power over the Ethernet cable to power the receiver. This eliminates the need for a power adapter on the receiver.
