Direct burial cable is used for applications that require the cable to be installed outdoors or directly in the ground, with or without the use of a conduit. Made with LDPE jacket for protection against water, sunlight, dirt, snow and extreme temperatures.

FTP Shield: FTP (Foil Twisted Pairs) cable contains multiple pairs of copper wire enclosed in a sheath of aluminum foil. It's used in wiring systems in buildings or other environments where heavy noise adjacent to the wire might cause interference. The foil provides insulation not afforded by UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) cable, the most common kind of structural wiring.
